Lumbering Operations on Middle Prong Great Smoky Mountains National Park This picture was taken about 2 1/2 miles East of Tremont on Lynn Camp Pron at the mouth of Panther Creek, looking North and covers an area of 600 or 700 acres, which was cut over in the spring of 1928. This picture shows the timber left standing on the thin areas after the merchantable timber has been cut and removed by the skidder method.
