Letter, 1863 September 18, James Wallace to Brooks [Verso] National Park Service Letter to Brooks from James Wallace regarding the serving of the guns in the Naval Battery.  Wallace reports that he thinks the Navy Gun carriages are superior to the iron army carriages.
