Glass negative shows a group of twelve visitors and two guides having dinner in the cave, there are several open flame lanterns in front of the visitors. There is an inscription in the lower left corner "064 dinner in the cave". There is another inscription in the lower right corner" copyrighted 1892 by H. C. Ganter. Ben Hains cave photographer. New Albany, Ind. U.S.A.".measurements: height 254 mm, width: 204 mm. thickness: 1 mm. Condition: good. The original blue 10-254 lists this as a gift from Ellis Jones on 14 Dec, 1981.Originally housed gsu c, sh 4 with maca 3608-3645, 3724-3743, 3746-3749, 3872-3888, 3903. Guides, caves, tourist trade, lantern, clothing and dress, food.
