Cased, medium size, woman seated, wearing a striped, long-sleeved dress, v-neckline with narrow lace edging, brooch at base of lace front, sleeves have trim giving shawl-like effect, her hair is parted in the center and pulled down tight over her ears and back. She is resting her right arm on a table- appears to have ring on one finger. Wood case is hinged, covered with leather-like material with gilt floral pattern on front and embossed sail-ship on back. Small brass hook on right side. Interior has dark purple, floral embossed velvet liner on left and right side has narrow, red velvet strip surrounding brass textured octagonal mat, image and glass. Dates 19th century.

Man dressed in dark suit, light shirt and bow tie. He has one arm around woman's shoulders. Plate is in a black wood embossed case, with small brass latch on right side. Front portion has broken loose from binding and it has red lining on inside. Glass plate has thin, gold embossed framing over it.

Wood case is hinged and covered with a leather-like material, ornately embossed on front and back and has a small brass hook on the right edge. interior has a blue or black velvet lining on the left, embossed with a fruit and basket design. Right side has a narow strip covered with same material on the left, surrounding a rough textured brass binder, glass, and image. Dates 19th century.

Caption reads: "An interpretive activity that has been well received by the public is the 'Snakes Alive' demonstration offered at Flamingo during the winter months. Offered two hours a day, six days a week, this one activity is visited by more people than any other. Park Rangers display poisonous and non-poisonous snakes to the public as well as allowing them to lose their fears of these Everglades inhabitants."

Glass plate of two young girls standing. Both appear to have on same type of dress. Dress is dark with long sleeves with white trim around the cuffs and neckline. Their hair is parted in middle and back behind ears. They also have on earrings. The plate has thin, gold embossed framing over it with flag in the upper corners and a boat and a wagon on bottom corners. Also inscribed "Constitution and Union" and in the centter bottom "July 4".

Woman on the right is sitting at an angle, hair pulled back, wearing a necklace, and holding her hands at the shoulder area of the other woman. Both have tinted cheeks.
