She is resting her right arm on a table- appears to have ring on one finger. Wood case is hinged, covered with leather-like material with gilt floral pattern on front and embossed sail-ship on back. Small brass hook on right side. Interior has dark purple, floral embossed velvet liner on left and right side has narrow, red velvet strip surrounding brass textured octagonal mat, image and glass. Dates 19th century.

Hair parted in middle with some sort of ornament attached to her hair on each side below ears. Man dressed in dark suit, light shirt and bow tie. He has one arm around woman's shoulders. Plate is in a black wood embossed case, with small brass latch on right side. Front portion has broken loose from binding and it has red lining on inside. Glass plate has thin, gold embossed framing over it.
