A sheet of laid paper ruled with blue lines and folded in half containing a letter dated April 7,(18)59 from M.A. Smith, Baltimore to Mr. Burton requesting him to forward goods from Harpers Ferry to Cumberland. A postscript continues on the second page. The document has been spindled leaving a hole near the center of each half. The paper is in poor condition, the front and back pages are very soiled and stained. Salvaged from building 14, Burton's Jewelry Store when it was dismantled
