TranscriptionInstructions for the officers in Charge of the Engineer Depot; 1.  Receipt of Material.  All requisitions for material for the supply of the Depot will be made by the officer in charge of the Depot; these to receive first the approval of the Asst [Assistant?] and Consulting Engr [Engineer] and 2nd of the Brig [Brigadier] Gen [General] and Chief Engineer.  2.  Issue of Material.  Requisition upon the Depot for material will be filled only when they have received the approval of the Brig [Brigadier] Gen [General] and Chief Engr [Engineer] or of the Asst [Assistant?] and Consulting Engineer.  3.  Expenditure of Material.  The approval of the Brig [Brigadier] Gen [General] and Chief Engineer of the Property.  Returns of the Officer in charge of the Depot will cover expenditures made on such Returns.  4.  The Permanent Detail of mechanics and labo [laborers]
