Letter, Edythe Marmion to Annie Marmion Harpers Ferry National Historical Park; National Park Service 2 sheets of off-white laid paper containing a letter written in blue ink from Edythe (Marmion) to Annie Marmion. The letter is datelined Sunday, requests that $12.50 be sent on February 1, refers to sending music for Willie and mentions the writers Alexandria train from St. Asops (sic). The paper has an oval watermark with a central crown over a floral sprig and with ribbons above and below carrying respectively real and Irish linen. Creased by 1 vertical and 1 horizontal fold

The obverse in headed-1 "Harper family" PA. The record begins with John Harper born 1632 and the latest date is 1889 referring to the sale of Wager Bridge to the B and O. There are underlinings and insertions in blue pencil. Upper half has suffered insect damage, 2/3 of upper half of the obverse is discolored, creases.
