Portrait of unknown woman Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Cased, and small. Woman in dark printed, long full sleeve dress with wide white collar and white cuffs. She is wearing a breastpin at front center of collar, and long earrings. Her hair is parted in the middle and pulled to either side to form a "bun" over each ear. Wood case is hinged and covered with a leather-like material, ornately embossed on front and back and has a small brass hook on the right edge. interior has a blue or black velvet lining on the left, embossed with a fruit and basket design. Right side has a narow strip covered with same material on the left, surrounding a rough textured brass binder, glass, and image. Dates 19th century.

Portrait of unidentified girl holding a book Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Glass plate of young girl sitting in a very full dress with floral design aroundskirt, outer portion of bodice and sleeves. Dress has black panel down center front and light collar. Wearing a broach at neckline. Hair is parted in the middle withcurls behind ears. She is holding book in hand. Plate has thin, gold, embossedframing over it. There is a string tied around the framing.
Letter, 1839 March 27, William Vickers to Mr. Burton Harpers Ferry National Historical Park; National Park Service Brief note written in ink on very faintly ruled, off-white paper to Mr. Burton from William Vickers(?) dated March 27, 1839 or 1859. The writer requests delivery of his gold hunting case watch to William Dinsmore. Document is torn in half along a center vertical fold and a third fragment has separated from the torn edge. Numerous tears and soiling. Note:hfd-45 was a # assigned by park staff indicating Harpers Ferry document file. Pulled and cataloged into the museum collection with acc. #329.

Portrait of uknown man Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Cased, medium size, of a young man dressed in dark suit, vest, white shirt, standup collar and black tie. His hair widely parted on his left combed high to the right and brushed over his ears. wood case is hinged, covered with leather-like material, embossed floral pattern on front and back, and small brass hook on right edge. Interior has a red, silky liner on the left and the right has a narrow, red velvet covered strip surrounding an ornate brass binder, image, curved brass cut-out mat and glass. Dates 19th century.

Portrait of unidentified man wearing a coat Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Glass plate profile of man dressed in cut away coat, vest, high-necked shirt or collar. Hair style is high in front and tapers in back. In black, wooden case, embossed, front part is broken from binding, has small brass latch on side and red floral design lining on inside. Glass plate has gold, thin, metal embosssed floral design framing, with inscription "Hames Booth and Haydens Super Fine." Glass plate measures 2 x 2 5/16 inces and the case 2 5/16 x 2 7/8 inces.
