Portrait of unknown woman, seated Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Cased print of a young woman, seated, wearing a light color dress, buttoned down the front, string-tie at neckline and long sleeves. Hair parted in middle and looped under ears. Her right arm is resting on a table and left folded at waist with draw-string purse over wrist. Case is hinged wood covered with leather-like material embossed on fromt and back with urn and leafy pattern, and has two small brass hooks on right edge. Interior has a red velvet lining with an ambossed pattern on the left. Right side has narrow red velvet covered framing enclosing narrow, embossed gilt metal frame, glass, stamped gilt metal matte with curved open image area and the print. Top surface of both sides has a gilt chain-like decoration. dates between 1845 to 1860.

Inside cover, embossed lining Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Glass plate of man and woman sitting. Woman has on dark, long sleeve dress with white collar. Hair parted in middle with some sort of ornament attached to her hair on each side below ears. Man dressed in dark suit, light shirt and bow tie. He has one arm around woman's shoulders. Plate is in a black wood embossed case, with small brass latch on right side. Front portion has broken loose from binding and it has red lining on inside. Glass plate has thin, gold embossed framing over it.

Portrait of unidentified man wearing a coat Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Tintype of a man in a coat, light high collar, hair parted on rightside and seems to be slightly curly behind his ears. There is an ink mark on theleft side of the tin type. Gold colored tin framing measuring 1 3/8 x 1 5/8 inches embossedwith a scroll type design with a small star on each corner of the frame. The framing hasan oval-shaped cut out in the center which sets over the tin type, framing the individual.
