Cooperative fire school, Wonderland club hotel, Great Smoky mountainsGreat Smoky Mountains National ParkA very successful cooperative fire school was conducted at the wonderland Club Hotel on September 25th and 26th with 68 persons in attendance. Representatives participated from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tennessee Division of Forestry, North Carolina Forest Service, Indian Service, TVA, US Forest Service, Mead Corporation, and this Park. Coot with broken leg in splintGreat Smoky Mountains National ParkDon DeFoe and Glenn Cardwell with a coot whose broken leg was splinted.
