Rectangle of off-white paper with fain vertical and horizontal rulings, probably cut from a larger sheet mad out in black ink to A. Burton for aAdams] Ex[press] and receipted by Hy Brown? document is punctured at the center by a spindle. A central vertical crease has split at the lower end. Paper is discolored and smudged in spots and generally soiled. Item was salvaged from building 14, Burton's Jewelry Store, when the store was dismantled.
