Letter to Brooks from Hanford enclosing the Signals and Sentences for Steamers, and advising Brooks to have Gillmore make application for procuring a boat.
Transcription[Letter, continued] me report to him for duty which can be done very readily without interfering with me in any shape as regards the Navy. Please let me know what the Generals veins are in regard to it and I will act immediately on them. If you will see when the [Fulton?] arrives if Mrs. Hanford is on board, if you will be so kind as to ship her down this way, I will be a thousand times obliged.
