Descriptive InformationCased, medium size, and shows a woman dressed in gray, long-sleeve dress with a "v" shape bodice or shawl. Her hair is parted in the middle and pulled straight down and behind her ears. Her left arm is resting on a table and the right is across her lap. Wood case is hinged and covered with an embossed, leather-like material. Right side has a small brass hook. Interior has an embossed, red velvet liner on the left, and the right has a narrow red velvet covered strip surrounding an ornately embossed brass binder, brass cut-out mat, and glass cover. Dates 19th century.
