Descriptive InformationMedium size, tintype of a woman in a dark, puffed long sleeved dress, with button front, trimming down bodice and dark collar with brooch in the center front. Her hair is parted in the center, pulled straight down and under, and back behind her ears. Embossed leather-like hinged wood case with brass hook on right edge. Interior has red, embossed velvet liner on left side, right side has a narrow, faded red velvet strip surrounding an ornate brass binder, tintype, curved brass cut-out mat and glass. Dates 19th century.
