A sheet of off-white paper lightly ruled in blue carrying the letterhead of the National Hotel with an engraved view of the building printed in black and containing a longhand note in black ink enclosing 2 deeds of the Shenandoah Pulp Co. with a request to make note of them on the abstract of title. (see cat. #3840). The lower edge is irregular, the obverse has an ink blot at the center of the top margin. The paper has horizontal folds. Lower edge has insect damage.
