Descriptive Information(Funding) Electronic format produced as part of Reclaiming the Everglades, a collaborative project of the University of Miami, Florida International University, and the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, funded by the Library of Congress/Ameritech National Digital Library Program.; (Biographical) Lost in the Everglades describes a 1917 expedition to the Jaudon property (Hopkins Tract), led by surveyor J. W. King. The other documents relate to Hamilton Disston, who attempted to drain the north Everglades, 1881-1896.
