Report detailing the number of service rounds at which specific 100 and 200 Pdr Parrott guns burst. Possibly by Mordecae.
TranscriptionCapt Comstock's 100 Pdr burst with 439 Service rounds. Lt. Sellman's 200 Pdr (on marsh) burst at 35th round with 18 lbs of powder and 35 degrees elevation. Capt. Strahan's 1st 200 Pdr burst at 227th service round-2nd 200 Pdr burst at 226th service round. Capt. Caldwell's 200 Pdr burst at 522nd service round. Capt. Shaw's 200 Pdr cracked at 599th service round. Navy Guns fired one 668 round the other 661 round both still good.
