Descriptive Information(Funding) Electronic format produced as part of Reclaiming the Everglades, a collaborative project of the University of Miami, Florida International University, and the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, funded by the Library of Congress/Ameritech National Digital Library Program.; (Biographical) Proposed development centered on Onion Key, about ten miles up Lostman's River, and including sections 3, 4, 9 and part of 16 of T56S R31E. In 1925 the Tropical Florida Development Corporation began to sell lots and construct a few buildings, but it failed within a few years.
