TranscriptionPresented by Mr. Miles, Architect of the Public Buildings. January 30 1840, The Land belonging to Fort Johnson is accounted 89 1/2 Acres high Land exclusive of the Fort agreable to a Survey of the 28th of June 1775. by Benj Lord D. Surv. At the Request of the Commisioners of Fortifications. The Division Lines between said Land and that belonging to the Heirs of Ths. Lambol Esq.s were run as agreed upon by Colonel Robert Howarth Commander of Fort Johnson and Hopkin Price Esq.s two of said Commisioners on the one Part, and the Executors of Ths. Lambol Esq.s on the other Part, both Parties being present. Furnished by the War Department to the City Council of Charleston, S.C.
