Piece of blank paper torn from end of bound sheet, containing request for groceries, dated December 27, 1872 and signed by M.S. Marmion; addressee's name undecipherable. Reverse contains grocery list. Left end stained and foxed, reverse has ink smear near the center and widespread staining. Found loose in Dr. Nicholas Marmion's day book (cat. no. 290).
