Civilian Conservation Corps Project Superintendents; This photograph taken at a meeting at Greenwood State Park in 1938 shows the men who were the forerunners of our park superintendents. These men supervised the development of the roads, buildings, and utilities for our first parks. Although the primary job of these men was construction and conservation work, they established many of the operational procedures that we use today.
