Slip of off-white paper ruled with light blue lines containing in originally black ink a long hand receipt for $1.50 paid by George Dittemeyer to Joseph Byrne for Anderson and Byrne dated November 29 1841. The left edge of the paper is that of the original sheet. The document is lightly creased by 8 vertical folds. Widespread light brown staining and moderate soiling at the right end. This was in a government envelope marked hfd-42/ Cassandra Dittmeyer. cat. #'s 8256-8259 were also in the envelope
