The following warning is given: The cry of fire! before charge are connected to lead wire, and all men except powderman leave for protection... A flagman is stationed at a safe distance from blast on all travelled highways or trails to stop traffic. The cry of fire! is given when powderman sees that all men are in clear; lead wire is then connected to charges and powderman proceeds to his protection with battery.
