Building Banquet-thread. Approaches to Fort Wagner-Detail 10 Engrs. [Engineers] and 30 Infantry. Lieut. [Lieutenant] Adams went on duty at 8 o'c A.M. and was relieved at 4 o'c P.M.; Repairs in 1st 2nd and 3rd Parallel. Covering Splinter Proof to the rear of General Magazine.; Detail 50 Infantry.; Capt. [Captain] Pratt went on duty at 4 o'c P.M. and was relieved at 12 o'c. Mid-Night. Put in a Barbette in right flank of 5th Parallel. Placed Requa in position. Built Magazine in 5th Parallel. Built two Traverses in 5th Parallel. Stopped new approach from right of 4th to left of 5th Parallel.
