Dry Branch String Band, part of the seasonal interpretive program, Cades Cove, Tennessee, 1974 Great Smoky Mountains National Park Charles Perkins (with beard)(violin), Ann Ragan(violin), Nat Kuykendall (banjo), Toby Patterson (guitar). Started playing together in April 1974 as a part of the seasonal interpretive program. Their aim was to present the type of songs that would have been heard in Cades Cove during the 1920's.
