The writer requests delivery of his gold hunting case watch to William Dinsmore. Document is torn in half along a center vertical fold and a third fragment has separated from the torn edge. Numerous tears and soiling. Note:hfd-45 was a # assigned by park staff indicating Harpers Ferry document file. Pulled and cataloged into the museum collection with acc. #329.

Embossed cartouche in the upper left corner consists of the word quadrille within a reopentined oval.

Marks - embossed trade mark top, left corner with the initial "P and P."
