Inscribed in pencil-pass privates hargrove, Smith and Kaufman to town until 7 1/2 oclock/by order of/Captain E. J. Magruder. The inscription also identifies the Rome light guards and gives the date-June 14th. Paper is creased by 3 vertical folds. The left and right ends of the paper are stained, particular the reverse of the right end where the paper has broken at one point across a fold
